The Kayak Festival is more of a try-out and buy event, but you do get to see a lot of product, and not just boats. PFDs, dry suits, camping gear, etc. In addition, there are numerous classroom and on-the-water training classes. It’s well worth it if you have an objective to take a class or decide on a boat. If you’re just looking, the Wooden Boat Festival is a better deal. As you can see below, this was mostly a plastic boat affair.
